Our Vision
Our vision is to position North Carolina’s beautiful attractions as the number one location for visitors. The purpose of the visitor center system is to promote travel to North Carolina destinations. We strive to:
encourage the visitor to leave the interstates to tour North Carolina
provide the visitor with information on all North Carolina destinations
create a warm and hospitable atmosphere
provide services (at some centers) that will meet the travel needs of the visitor
be North Carolina’s ambassadors to the traveling public
